The opening is quite strong, completely without fresh top notes, like in a somewhat obscure herbal tea shop, filled with dried, intensely fragrant bitter roots and herbs. Then slowly, more transparent, ethereal notes emerge, with beautiful citrusy resinous tones, greens, earthy grass-root notes, slightly balsamic, and Floyd's lovely "light grass." Plant-based musk tones of high complexity and quality. Good and very special. I'm really fond of the family business Maienfelser Naturkosmetik - they grow plants and produce everything by hand, with some of their own distillation of oils and tinctures. They also offer natural cosmetics, teas, and incense, all very lovingly designed and packaged without plastic.
