Oriental Clean Man
If you like it clean, white-floral, and powdery, you might hit the jackpot with MAM's Tataouine.
To be honest, I hadn't really considered floral attars, so my first order of samples from MAM consisted solely of amber, musk, and oud attars. Therefore, I was all the more curious when one of my subsequent orders, featuring a few selected Tolas, included a sample of Tataouine. I can already reveal my conclusion: I like it!
Tataouine is by no means a complex or difficult fragrance to wear and falls within the spectrum of oriental white-floral scents. A truckload of jasmine dominates the entire fragrance journey, where the oriental touch of the flower comes through without drifting into a toilet-like territory. Iris, violet, and floral notes submit to the dominant fragrance note and together with the white musk create a wonderfully powdery, gentle, and flower-laden bed. With moderate longevity and average sillage, it is a lovely and carefree scent for the early hours of the day or simply for a little pick-me-up.
