in a 5L canister as a bathroom cleaner? priceless!
I would like to take a stand here - on behalf of all "Freshies" - which are often associated with cleaning products for bathrooms and toilets.
Much that has even a hint of citrus is quickly compared to toilet duck and the like, as they unfortunately often share this scent group.
I can assure you: there is no toilet cleaner with real lime, bergamot, or other ingredients that make up these fresh scents. And if there is, it would likely come at a significant price.
Have I just discovered a market gap? Perfume for the toilet? Niche scents for the quiet place? While I continue to ponder this, I return to this scent here.
I find it sprayed on, first and foremost: fresh.
Very fresh!
I close my eyes and...
...nope, I'm still not sitting in, or rather at, the often-associated place. It may have smelled like this at
the Queen's; but at Jürgen's feeding trough at the train station or Erika's drinking nook at the
Wall, it doesn't smell like this at all!
In short: I like the scent; starting off very fresh, it doesn't lose that vibe, but it does weaken over time and then lets a bit of mint and musk through. All in all, it's not really suitable for the upcoming season, but for next summer, I'll stash my little sample away and be prepared!
It's not a knockout, but I wouldn't condemn it just because of its toilet duck (scent family).
And as the saying goes: "You can't choose your family"…

There are now toilet cleaners that don't necessarily smell bad. Some people mainly associate them with strong citrus notes. It really depends on perception and taste. I don’t always get the comparison either :)
