An extraordinary fragrance experience
Some time ago I got a bottling from a lovely perfuma. It seems to me that I'm the only one who doesn't know him, and it couldn't stay like that any longer!
From the description, I actually expected a heavy, dark oriental. Baccarat evokes associations with roses. Far from it!
"Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum" surprises with the first breath: the fragrance is bright, radiant, Indian Summer instead of dark red velvet. But no rose, not far and wide.
And yes, I didn't actually know him. This is a fragrance with a strong recognition value, once you smell it, you will never forget it. Whether you like it or not, just one single spray of Baccarat Rouge 540 will take you away immediately. It is a unique statement, a work of art and it certainly polarizes.
Baccarat Rouge 540 is quite sweet, but not pushy or even sticky, but more like a smooth airy cloud. Despite the sweetness, the fragrance is extremely multi-faceted, somewhat resinous, a bit floral of jasmine, interwoven with saffron, made very refined. There is no big fragrance progression, everything unites within a very short time and then stays that way. Sometimes something reminds me of essential fir or spruce needle oil. But if I want to trace it, it has already disappeared again. Something wants to tease my nose and makes sure that my nose is always on my wrist.
Baccarat Rouge 540 is definitely not something for every day, definitely not for the office, it's more of an extraordinary night out scent. One for the mild to cooler days. Not for heat, I think.
Sillage and durability are more than exceptional - it is a bomb and very present all day long.
But what's strange is that this scent is room filling on the one hand, but on the other hand it doesn't kill you, but...how shall I say....although you can smell it even metres away, it somehow remains discreet in the projection. This is also extraordinary and I have never experienced it in this form before. Slowly I understand why such a hype about the scent exists. I find it very beautiful
This is also a fragrance from Maison Francis Kurkdjian, where a single spray is sufficient all day long until well into the evening. This fragrance is expensive, but it will definitely last forever. I see it more in the feminine area, I only know one man who likes sweet scents very much and wears them. I could well imagine Baccarat Rouge 540 on him.
Since I am registered for a sharing, I will probably soon get the opportunity to test and compare the extract in detail. Whether the fragrance will then move in with me, that remains to be seen. The chances are already good.

When I played baccarat I also thought of Rose. I think there is even a baccarat rose. Lg Doris
