I have never been able to make friends with this fragrance in the past. Also because there were mostly "only" people around me who wore it in the form of a dupe. I didn't like the fragrance on myself, but more or less on others. After a long time with the dupe in my nose, I received a sample of the "real" fragrance in an original fragrance package, which went straight on to the lady.
She applied it for the first time and immediately fell in love, which really got on my nerves at first because I hated the fragrance up to that point...
I gave the fragrance a chance and tried to understand it more or less and to like it a bit more. I was initially put off by a very overwhelming and sweet opening, but this quickly went away. When the scent subsided and you could finally tell a clear difference in quality between the dupe and the original, I started to like the fragrance. A very feminine, almost creamy, powdery combination enveloped by a light spiciness unfolded and continued until the drydown.
I am not a professional nose and prefer to judge fragrances by associating them with things. But I see this fragrance on a self-confident woman who would like to draw attention to herself with a slightly seductive, yet present fragrance.
Is the price justified? Yes and no.
Do I prefer the original to the dupe? Yes.
Will this fragrance be under the lady's Christmas tree? Probably yes ^^
