I have been wearing this fragrance regularly for a year now, and it has become one of my absolute favorites.
As other reviewers have already noted, the oud here stays more in the background and presents itself in a subtly woody way. This makes the fragrance less heavy than one might initially suspect. The classic combination with rose is crafted very well and is perfectly balanced by fresh accents. This makes the perfume absolutely suitable for everyday wear for me.
Contrary to the fear that the individual notes might suggest, this is by no means an "old lady fragrance." I perceive it more as a classic, familiar scent that is brightened by a certain freshness. To me, the fragrance radiates something calming, almost melancholic, while simultaneously appearing very professional and mature.
I enjoy wearing it at the office, during walks in nature, but also as a feel-good scent at home or before going to bed. For me, it is a fragrance for almost the entire year. Only on extremely hot summer days can the subtly present dark heaviness become a bit too much.
A classic, top-notch fragrance that I can highly recommend.
