With French references, I'm easily won over. I’ll definitely add this scent to my wishlist. ;)

I really like the brand, and I haven't tried this scent yet. But elegance and intensity definitely sound appealing.

It might be a bit too oud for many.

I'm not quite sure about the aftershave, but it's an interesting combo.

So it's not a typical aftershave, but I wanted to illustrate it with the essential herb and gentleman vibe.

The dry and brittle ones usually appeal to me more than the sticky and moist ones!

I now prefer drier notes in fragrances rather than moist, sticky ones. This house represented niche.

Once the oud settles down, I really like it as it develops.

It actually seems interesting to me. I might just dare to try an oud scent after all. If it has that medicinal herbal stuff and also cistus in it...

It's not quite easy, but it has something mystical about it. Scents like this need to be tested multiple times.

The black color fits the scent well.
Dark and mystical.
The opening isn't easy, as the oud is very present and radiates from animalic to rugged wilderness. Ethereal, soapy herbs bring a dark elegance and speak for the French house. A dark smokiness plays along, which could possibly come from the oud and the incense accord. Despite the resins and vanilla, it’s quite unsweet and rather warm to brittle-dry, which reminds me a lot of the Krigler Oud Sumptuous 75213, although that one has significantly less oud animalic.
An intriguing scent.
Thanks to GurkenRick for the testing opportunity.
