What have I just found?
When I entered the Mango store while looking for a handbag, I wasn't even aware that Mango has perfume in its range. I had already bought two new perfumes on my shopping tour, so my need for a new scent was actually satisfied. Nevertheless, I was intrigued by this little table with the somewhat carelessly presented bottles. "Let's see what Mango can do," I thought. After all, brands like Zara also occasionally release great fragrances at a good price.
I was immediately drawn to the bottle in the middle, as the color of the perfume looked a bit darker and somehow delicious. "Suede Cream" - sounds interesting at first! Besides, I was in the mood for something new for autumn. Something different from floral or fresh scents. So I picked up the bottle and sprayed two full sprays onto the test strip. Instantly, an incredibly delicious, fruity, warm cloud of fragrance formed around me. "Wait a minute... what is this?" I was head over heels in love from the very first second! How could this be? At Mango?! I wanted it! So intense and delicious and for me also something completely new. I'm still a novice in the gourmand world - or let's say in the world of scents that somehow smell edible - and therefore I was often unsure when testing such fragrances whether they were for me. But here, I wasn't! Not for a second - that says something!
For a moment, I was worried that Mango might have unexpectedly high pricing. Slowly, I turned the package to the side to carefully read the price. I was shocked: "Excuse me? Only €22.99? How can that be?"
Of course, the scent came right along! I also tested the other fragrances from the line (and bought two more) and found them to be good, but they can't compete with "Suede Cream." That's just a different ballpark.
This scent is so warm and pleasantly sweet. The mango is extremely present and creates an intense fruity note that lasts. Combined with the vanilla, it smells like mango cream. Or like a cake? I can't quite say. In any case, it smells incredibly creamy delicious. And then there's that leather note that mixes in the background. What a great mix! Suddenly, this fruity scent is also suitable for autumn and, in my opinion, totally unisex! Moreover, it should be mentioned that the longevity on clothing is incredibly good. I applied it this morning at 8:30, and now, 12 hours later, I can still smell it clearly while walking the dog. I haven't tested it extensively on my skin yet, but for me, the longevity on clothing is the deciding factor.
I can recommend this scent 100%. If you're looking for a warm, slightly spicy, delicious, and sweet fragrance that absolutely does not smell kitschy or cheap, then you should give this little gem a chance.
