This is what summer tastes like

I became aware of Manila Grace Eau Fraîche because of the pretty bottle. And if the bottle is such a feast for the eyes, then the content can't be too bad either...

First of all, thanks to @Orangensorbe for allowing me to test the fragrance.

The mango is immediately noticeable upon spraying, but I can also detect a citrus note. After about 15-20 minutes, the scent becomes softer, with vanilla pushing its way alongside the mango. From this moment on, Manila Grace Eau Fraîche feels to me like a Solero ice cream (exotic flavor); it's one of my favorites when it comes to ice pops and symbolizes summer, sun + swimming pool for me.

The fragrance lingers for several hours as a mix of mango and vanilla, and just before I can no longer perceive it on my skin, it becomes very slightly woody.

For an Eau de Toilette, Manila Grace Eau Fraîche surprisingly lasts quite long; I can smell it on my skin for more than 8 hours. The scent trail is also really well done; my best friend could smell the perfume from a good arm's length away from me.

I am positively surprised and considering adding Manila Grace Eau Fraîche to my collection. With this fragrance, I am really looking forward to the warm season!

Solero ice sounds nice. Does it not come off too artificial?

For me, the synthetic notes aren't overwhelming here, despite the pretty good price range. Yes, really, the heart note reminds me a lot of the taste of Solero. 🙂
