And yet another "vintage" strikes!
I had just been looking for a certain "spice fragrance" when this "great Olle" Marbert fell into my hands! Untested, uncommented, ... strange?? Even I have something like that! I knew it was in my stock, but it was "only" listed as a bottling... Now it's ready to be tested!
Well, what can I say!!! "Volle Lotte an ancient vintage"! The best kind, exceptional durability and radiance for an "EDC". Everything is tightly interwoven in a texture that, if it were fabric, could be a blend of silk and linen!
There are herbaceous-green citrus fruits here, which, surrounded by a tart, spicy floral bouquet, end in a mossy, balsamic cloud of spicy wood. And I can detect a hint of honey throughout...
With subtle "animalic" undertones accompanied by earthy "ink"! Hardly a comparison to most of today's "Marberts", although some of them are really good too! They lack all the "old charm" that only really comes to the fore through a juxtaposition of "new" and "old". The "good" becomes "great class". And a "fragrance commentary" becomes a reminder for other "noses" who appreciate and love something like this :-))

Bitter fresh licorice shavings!
I don't have much experience with the "Mugler fragrances" yet. I had only tested "Angel"--"Alien" (much too sweet for me) and the original "Mugler-Cologne" (too thin). Now I have a descendant of it under my nose, which seems to be just...

From Yves Rocher's cool noble line - icy things from the South Pole!
With this "blue fragrance", I have brought a piece of old cold "aquatics" to my nose, which bears no resemblance to other "blues". Neither with Davidoff's "cool water" nor with "Invictus" & Co.
