Brilliant on others - a disaster on me
I actually really like smelling Ganymede on others. This tangy, mossy freshness - unusual, modern, independent. It's definitely a fragrance with recognition value. It is somehow futuristic and yet wearable. I can totally understand why many people celebrate it as something special.
When I tested it on my own skin for the first time, I was immediately impressed. The first few minutes after spraying it on, I thought: This is exactly how I want to smell.
But unfortunately only the first few minutes.
After a short time, the fragrance completely turned on me. It became metallic, slightly sour - almost sweat-like. Instead of this clear, spicy freshness, there was suddenly something unpleasant in the air. The initial euphoria evaporated - headache synthetics included. And the worst thing: even after showering, I felt like I still had it on my skin. With other fragrances, that might be a compliment - here it was just exhausting.
I think it's simply down to skin chemistry. Some fragrances just don't work on everyone. And that's okay. Still, it's a shame - because the potential is there.
Ganymede is superbly crafted, no question about it. It has presence, character and its very own scent. I wish it worked on me like it does on others. But it doesn't. And so, for me, it remains a fragrance to sniff - but not to wear.
On others: top. On me: nope.

The first few minutes are really great, but after that I only notice this sweat-like synthetic scent. It gets really tiring in the long run
