Terry Discretion

Winds whip through the fresh laundry in the garden. You can hear the sheets fluttering. A white-tiled bathroom. Pure steam rises from the shower. Hard cotton terry dries the body. A clean T-shirt drapes over the shoulders. The window is opened. The coolness enters the room. Condensation beads down. A day begins…
One shouldn't expect too much, as Cotton is quite simply constructed. In the opening, the scent is fresh, almost aquatic and relatively masculine. Bergamot and mandarin are, in contrast to orange and peach, clearly recognizable and slightly tart, yet by no means aggressively citrusy. The lavender is almost continuously perceptible and adds a gentle spicy character to the composition. Jasmine, lily of the valley, and cotton are quite flat, barely noticeable, and generally, the cotton can at best be understood in a synthetic sense, hardly identifiable. Sandalwood and white woods stabilize without appearing rigid or angular, while musk and suede remain well-groomed in the background, resulting in a slow, woody, soft, and intimate finish. The interplay of all notes is quite harmonious, as they do justice to the impression of cotton in the scent. The longevity is moderate, but significantly worse compared to Rain and Cucumber; the sillage is mild.

Cotton is not a standout, not a loud fellow...rather a fragrance for quiet days, days without fuss, boring days. Functional restraint in the bottle. Simple, white, clean, and terry.

You've completely captured him with the first paragraph, and it's a very successful comment overall!
