Freshly Washed
Smells like cotton? Just to be sure, I held my nose up to various cotton clothes. To be honest?! I don't smell anything. Well, I do smell something, the laundry detergent and the fabric softener that were involved.
Does Cotton smell like a freshly washed T-shirt? Yes, you could say that. In any case, a luxury fabric softener was involved. And there's something else I smell here, a slightly bitter note. It must be a T-shirt from a freshly washed, oh that means a showered man. That must come from his shower gel.
The bitterness isn't really my thing, but the delicate peach balances it out so harmoniously that I find this scent absolutely heavenly.
The base is woody, soft, and warm. A real cuddle scent for the warmer months.
The longevity is surprisingly good for a splash.

I was at an M. Jacobs fragrance training today. Cotton, Rain, and the other scents are really meant to be used, for example, on laundry, in closets, in ironing water, or as a refreshing spray. That's why they come in the somewhat bulky 300ml bottles.

I think this is the perfect scent to come across as harmless, nice, and easygoing when you're in court, trying to pull one over on a negotiation partner, or reaffirming your loyalty after some polyamorous escapades.
