So now a little attempt at explaining the scent.
Without a pyramid, it’s the most enjoyable…:-)
A wonderfully spritzy, aldehydic classic opening mood.
Galbanum and freshness mix with a slightly piercing metallic note,
very strange ;0)
A skilled somersault and the fragrance remains true to itself the whole time!
A development from loud to softly quiet, moving towards lush and very present.
A rich floral bouquet at the heart and much more to offer.
Innocent white finely woven, velvety powdery without end!
Mainly and dominantly the iris with root, surrounded by a few white roses, jasmine, and I believe I also encountered a tuberose!
Ylang Ylang and tonka rise to my nose.
Juicy hesperides roll by.
In the base very creamy, musky soft, white and clean.
A little amber and wood hide away.
Vetiver, what more could one want..
Very densely woven, no one pushes to the forefront!
The metallic note runs like a thread through the iris powder dream and surely ensures that
Truly’s pressing courtship finds fulfillment in cool satin bedding.
The fragrance truly lasts forever:-), with beautiful sillage!
Reminds me of Frederic Malle’s Iris Poudre.
Chanel’s No. 19 Poudre layered with Teint de Neige or
150 from Profumi del Forte would also go in that direction, (somehow a creepy thought:)
But Truly is simply “most sophisticated”.
When it has finally landed in the base...
I would say, "LE DIX" has risen again...
The perfect Marilyn Monroe fragrance… film-worthy!
Lustful, almost naive, seemingly strong,
admired, misunderstood, and too much desired!
In search of recognition and everlasting love!!
