Yes yes, this is rose. However, different from the many delicious rose perfumes I have encountered. This one is sweeter, not sugary sweet, but lovely and fruity. This scent smells English, just like the rose potpourris that spread their floral, slightly artificial fragrance in many English homes (at least when I visited the apartments and houses of friends with my host family in the 90s). I surely love it all the more for that. It smells of floral sofas and floral cushions, romantically varied and playful. After tea time and English dinner parties (by the way, English food is much better than its reputation)... pure memory. Best regards from the olfactory memory. I immediately took a bottle of 3 in 1 Body, Room & Linen Spray with me. Well, for the unbeatable low price, I should probably stock up again before heading back to good old Germany.
I fear I can't provide a neutral description of the scent. But maybe I’ll soak in the fragrance and then someone else can try their luck with it, who also enjoys rose scents.
Now it's pure nostalgia for me (end of the 80s). Sigh! For that, I give it a Brit award. Anyway, I've planned some perfume power shopping at Marks & Sparks etc. for next year. Hopefully, it works out...
I really like this one too - just like the other floral scents in the series. Unfortunately, during my last visit to London in April, the two scents I still need weren't available at M&S. What a shame!
