Deemed to be the best Black Opium by YSL dupe on UK’s high street. Based on the same DNA minus all those contentious notes i.e. smoke, wood and peppermint. It is ambery, musky and a little waxy instead, with prominent notes of sun-drenched gardenia and tuberose. The latter gives it lightly floral, creamy and honeyed undertones. In cooler weather it might come across as slightly medicinal scent or a bubblegum.
The fragrance is elegant and reasonably complex, yet linear and inoffensive.
Its diva like intoxicating sweetness lasts all day.
Brilliant for the evening any time of the year.
