The opening is briefly fresh, soft fruity orange with sunny neroli blossoms.
This only lasts a short time, as a heavy oily ylang-ylang pushes forward, which I find to be dominant, accompanied by gentle, non-indolic jasmine and a hint of warming cinnamon.
This phase lasts quite a long time; you can tell the quality of the ingredients, as with all the Micallef fragrances I have tested so far, but personally, it is too much for me.
The base is creamy, warm, soft, powdery, deliciously sweet, with vanilla, almond, and sandalwood.
The cedar saves it from becoming too sweet/sticky.
I would classify it as an adult gourmand fragrance and find the name well chosen.
The longevity is very good, and the sillage is perceptible from good to very good.
A must for lovers of this genre.
Unfortunately, not for me.
