8Scent 7.5Longevity

Fruit Bomb with a Twist

The scent in this heavenly bottle has intrigued me since its release, and I truly hope it becomes mine before it disappears from the market again.
As a special edition from Micallef, it is limited, and that is precisely the crux of the matter. Why is this fragrance limited? After all, it is not one of Micallef's oriental Aoud compositions, but something truly special.

The opening is an explosion of red fruits. Raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, currants, cherries, peaches, plums, all fully ripe and very juicy. A beautiful beginning to this overall harmonious creation. It is also quite sweet, yet the sweetness does not overwhelm; it simply fits perfectly.

Surprisingly, in this case, the top note lasts incredibly long. I expected a change within half an hour at the latest, but the fruits remained distinctly present until they slowly gave way to the rose.

It is a special rose, worthy of a special edition. Delightfully fragrant and slightly dark, with a hint of honey trailing behind. It is wonderful to be able to smell this fragrance.

With the base, it becomes increasingly softer, and I would love to keep reapplying it to enjoy the scent over the next few days.

The sillage makes the fragrance quite close to the body; it is not a room-filler. The longevity is acceptable but could certainly be better, as the price is not insignificant, and I would like to enjoy the scent longer without needing to reapply.

This special edition rightly carries its name, and I believe this fragrance deserves more attention, not just from Micallef fans. Due to its present but not exaggerated sweetness, Special Edition is recommended for both female and male wearers.

Because it truly is: recommendable, very much so!

Do you really think it's unisex? I love Special Edition!!! But I didn't dare to get it because I found it too feminine.
