This is one of those fragrances that you try once and then keep coming back to because it just does something to you.
The opening is soft and slightly fresh - a mix of bergamot and something berry-like (probably raspberry). But what really grabbed me is this sweet-spicy heart. There’s something creamy coming through - caramel, a hint of lychee, ginger… it may sound wild, but it all fits together harmoniously. A bit floral, a bit sweet, but never too loud.
And then the base! The musk combined with vanilla and sandalwood - wow. Warm, soft, sensual, almost hypnotic. Exactly the right scent for days when I just want to feel comfortable without wanting to stand out too much. Still, I always get asked about it - but more in the sense of: “You smell so good, what is that?” and not “Wow, what are you wearing?” hehe
Longevity is top-notch - I can still smell it in the evening after spraying it in the morning. The sillage is rather intimate, but that fits this fragrance perfectly.
The bottle? Beautiful. Soft pink with golden accents - really feminine but not kitschy. It sits right at the front of my shelf.
For me, Hypnotic Musk is like a cozy cashmere sweater in fragrance form. Elegant, soft, sensual - without being pushy. An absolute recommendation if you’re into musk and creamy, skin-close scents.
