Red Evening Massimo Dutti

Hidden Gem!
I don't usually care much about clothing brand perfumes (Zara, etc.) because I don't like fast fashion and I often find the perfumery in these brands kind of boring and repetitive dupes of the classic 3-4 hyped up fragrances at the moment.
However, this is one of the exceptions where we actually have a beautiful fragrance, also with a good performance.
It's a very classic combination: Mainly oud and rose, together with an ambery note.
The opening gives me a feeling of red fruits, sweet and slightly juicy, with the earthy and dark background of the oud. I don't think this oud is a challenging one, but it is pretty strong.
In the heart we find a dark, deep and almost balsamic rose, with the oud that still prevails.
In the drydown amber mainly remains, along with a hint of sweetness similar to vanilla or tonka bean.
I think that for the price, this is a very very good fragrance. I love using it in the colder weather.
