1975… the year when “One flew over the cuckoo’s nest” hits the cinema, Rubik’s cube hits the market and Margaret Thatcher is elected to lead the Conservative Party. Chloé and Cardin release their iconic scents, Chloé and Cardin… and Max Factor releases Blasé.
Blasé is a wonderful fragrance with an exceptionally great base. It has a nice top with aldehydes, berries and bergamot. This lasts for ten-fifteen minutes and then Jasmine and rose come out to play. Beautiful flowers that fill out the room and lift the spirit. But it is after two to three hours that the perfume really shows its worth. Cedar, oak moss, sandalwood and amber. Yes, it has been done before. Yes, it will be done again. But the right amount of the four… delicious! Very spicy/woody. The base is so good, that you want it to continue endlessly. It lasts for 8-9 hours.
