Hartley Mazzolari 2014

As already mentioned in the title, I am still sitting at the table beaming and can't stop sniffing myself.

Some have already mentioned that this is supposed to be a dupe of the OG.
For a supposed dupe, it is simply too good.
The similarity is quite astonishing. It is less metallic and somehow feels a bit clearer and cleaner.

The lemon is definitely present at the beginning, but fades away quite quickly, or rather, merges with the rest. I can clearly smell the lavender, as well as the mix of cedarwood and patchouli, although the patchouli is very subtle.

It doesn't reach the depth of an RM 45, but it doesn't need to; however, this one replaces the RM for me. Much more affordable and the scent progression is just exactly my style.

After an hour, it starts to feel a bit powdery but does not come off as heavy or overwhelming.

Please note this is my personal impression, which can vary greatly from nose to nose.

For me, it is the better RM and a clear recommendation without any ifs or buts.
