Authent is not as well-known as some other fragrances. Rather inconspicuous, as Menard could be known for cosmetics.
Authent has no unknown fragrance notes. But these have been used wonderfully. Authent is described as fruity-floral. Yes, somehow it is, just different.
It is definitely not a gourmand for me, nor is it a typical rose fragrance.
Authent is tart, floral and minimally sweet. Not a rose that is busty or fleshy, but a very delicate and soft rose with soft thorns that you would like to hug. Spicy due to ambrette seeds, which are musky, somewhat animalic and shout "hello" with a touch of fruit. Ambrette seeds are considered the best natural alternative to real musk. Delicate and soft, the orange blossom underscores the tartness with a touch of unripe green and a hint of powderiness. And again, something animalistic. Another green nuance comes from the violet. Beautifully demure and cool, somewhat gurky and clear. Authentic actually reminds me a little of a geisha. Graceful and not at all ordinary. Delicate and yet very present. An unknown, precious beauty and priced in the higher segment.
