Driving Through the Rose Garden in a Coupe
Blackcurrants and roses go together... yes, we’ve checked. Another fragrance of this kind is delivered by Mercedes Benz with their pink rose.
The bottle fits. The fragrance pyramid fits. The color fits. The advertising fits. The expectation fits. The scent... not quite.
Okay, it’s fine. But there are significantly prettier, more substantial alternatives out there that smell just as good. Just a tad better. See "Parlez-moi d'Amour Eau Fraîche". Or a whole lot better. See "L'eau MiXte".
Rose kisses blackcurrant. A bit chemical, not very natural, not very high quality. Although absolutely wearable. At least for the younger female Mercedes drivers. Who like to paint their coupe pink. And whose daddies pay the bills anyway. Born rich. You can buy a pink Mercedes. Style, you cannot.
Bottle: Pink rules
Sillage: girlish
Longevity: after 3-4 hours, it runs out of steam early
Conclusion: like a couple that obnoxiously announces on social networks and has to keep emphasizing and showing that they love each other - blackcurrant + rose. Yuck. But pretty. From the front.
