Why, Mr. Cresp?

Where should I begin?
A very good friend forgot the fragrance at my place and invited me to test it thoroughly, as this would be his new signature scent.
One must know that my friend has absolutely no idea about fragrances and only wears them for the ladies.
Countless times I have recommended him better scents, especially real compliment-getters, but he is convinced that this perfume is just right for him.
I found it somewhat okay on him, although I only perceived the scent in parts due to the very weak sillage.
The opening is still okay and smells of trivial floral sweetness.
Everything that follows, however, tips into an undefinable sweet mush.
Olivier Cresp is actually one of my favorite fragrance artists, but here he has, in my opinion, created a bad scent for a supposed zeitgeist (which, in my eyes, has been outdated for a few years).
As others have already described, the scent is very linear and simply uncreative.
I do not understand what and who this scent wants to be.
In the end, only this unbearable sweetness remains.
Mercedes Benz Cologne and the Intense have impressed me so far, but with this scent, I simply feel a rejection.
In my eyes, it is the worst release of 2021 that I have been able to test so far.
Save your money and buy yourself a decent fragrance instead.
I will have to hold back from trying to talk my friend out of his new signature scent for eternity.
He definitely did not match my taste, and I am convinced that my friend is only so into it because he really has absolutely no muse or interest in the world of fragrances.
