Fresh Splash for Him Mexx 2020 Eau de Toilette

Mexx Fresh Splash truly manages to impress. Driven by the impressive rating for a budget fragrance, I gave it a chance this morning and I must say, for the price, it is outstanding. It starts off very fresh. Dominating is a shower gel note that bears a striking resemblance to Percival by PdM. Underneath, very green herbal notes provide a unique touch. I consider basil to be a rumor, but tarragon could be it. In any case, this herbal note gives the whole thing a very dry, almost salty, undertone. The sillage and longevity seem to me to be rather mediocre.
At this point, I would usually recommend a suitable outfit, but honestly, the fragrance refuses to "talk" to me in this regard. The best I can think of are solid-colored shorts and a matching shirt or T-shirt for a day with friends in the park.

Conclusion: The similarity to Percival is striking. Anyone looking for a fresh shower gel scent with a distinctly individual note for very little money will find this a good choice. One shouldn't expect miracles, but it is definitely worth a try.
