Very helpful Review
Recently in the Drugstore
Every now and then, I test one or another Mexx fragrance while shopping. For example, I really liked Mexx Black, but unfortunately, the longevity leaves much to be desired - that's why I could never bring myself to buy one. But many Mexx fragrances have this issue, and this one is no exception.
Apparently, the fragrance was previously available in a different bottle; this one seems to be a re-release. I don't know the old version, so I can't say whether the scent has changed.
Now to the scent itself: It is definitely a very subtle summer fragrance. When I tested it, I could hardly perceive it among all the testers and other drugstore scents. There was something slightly fresh-citrusy on my arm, and not much else.
Only outside in the sun and fresh air did the fragrance really reveal itself - I can identify orange blossom and cedar, and there is a certain similarity to Mexx Fresh. Ice Touch actually smells somewhat cool, without becoming cucumber-like. That could be the mint, or those mysterious aquatic notes. There is also a bit of fruitiness, but it comes across as very synthetic. After 3-4 hours, the scent unfortunately fades away, leaving a very light soapy cedar. If I didn't know it was a perfume and hadn't tried to dissect the scent components, I wouldn't recognize it as such - it is really unobtrusive and smells more like a shower gel than a perfume. In this respect, it is definitely suitable for sports and high summer.
------------------
Addendum: It does have something calone-like, but in this combination, it leans more towards melon than cucumber (thankfully, I hate cucumber scents). After half an hour, I can no longer distinguish it from Mexx Fresh. So it's only interesting for those who absolutely need the melon-mint top notes ;)

Irgendwie hatte ich mich bisher nie zu einem Test durchringen können. Beim nächsten warmen Tag wird das nachgeholt...
