Hello everyone!
I bought this perfume because I am a big fan of the American YouTuber behind the scent, and in general, I tend to prefer heavy winter fragrances.
So off to the website, entered the discount code, and there we go. 21€ shipping costs to Germany: "Hmm.. okay."
However, there was a FREE sweater with a nice print and a huge battery of fragrance samples included.
About a week later, the GLS package arrived at my place.
I immediately unpacked it, unfortunately didn't have any scent strips ready, but I had to use the sweater (for now).
But I was confused. The scent was familiar, yet strange (more on that later…).
Every time I thought, "Now I know what you remind me of!" that thought abruptly faded away. So I ran to the closet, got the scent strips, three sprays on the strip, three sprays on my hand.
First conclusion: A sweet, slightly vanilla Black Orchid clone that has fallen into a mush of ginger and can't get out.
I hardly perceive cinnamon or black pepper.
Oud lingers in the background, peeking around the corner mischievously, but only becomes truly noticeable after a while.
The drydown comes quickly and consistently.
In my experience, it kicks in after about 10 minutes and leaves a trail of exciting boredom.
Ginger, vanilla, a bit of cardamom, and a pinch of oud. Plus a rapid increase in sweetness.
Great combination, boring execution.
Unfortunately, the sillage is also a bit disappointing.
Three sprays on my hand, and after a few minutes (30-45 min.), I can only smell it from an estimated distance of 40cm.
I can't say much more about the base notes, as not much changes.
A bit more oud, a bit less ginger, and that's it for me.
What a pity!
To me, the scent sounded very promising!
Unfortunately, for me (according to the Lower Saxony grading system), it's only a 3-.
Now let's talk about the bottle.
Heavy cap, wonderful spray head, and a nice side lining in ebony look (but made of plastic).
It feels valuable, it's satisfactory!
A 2+ in my eyes.
Conclusion:
This scent is unisex for me. From start to finish.
It's not a bad scent, but it's also not a groundbreaking novelty. Unfortunately, it's just boring.
You can wear it, but I wouldn't buy it again; it's simply not worth 100€ to me!

It was my first one. :)
It's a shame! In my opinion, Ash has good taste when it comes to fragrances, but with this scent (and the whole range of samples I received), I'm definitely not on his side!
My top winter fragrances are and will always be Amouage Enclave and Bvlgari Man in Black!
