The Man Cobalt Milton-Lloyd

The Alternative
A few weeks ago I received The Man Cobalt and today I applied it for the first time.
I can't make the described comparison to vintage Fahrenheit because I don't know it. So I measure it against the "current" Fahrenheit, which I once owned; mine was from 2012. The Man Cobalt is clearly a very successful Fahrenheit dupe.
The original, in comparison to this, seems more mass-appealing to me, perhaps even softened.
The Man Cobalt comes across as much more rugged and spicier. I also perceive the well-known
"gasoline note" as much more intense than in the original, which of course also always depends on the dosage, but it should be used sparingly, as TMC has quite a good sillage.
All in all, when I compare the prices, I really don't need to think long about which fragrance I would choose. The differences are there, even significant. However, for my taste, they are not so drastic that I would necessarily choose the current Fahrenheit.
But that's a matter of taste, or in this case, more likely a matter of smell.
