Vesevo Mine Perfume Lab 2020

From time to time, large chains like Douglas, Sephora, or Pieper quietly introduce new, almost niche brands into their back aisles, which one would otherwise surely not have noticed or encountered. Mine Perfume Lab caught my eye among all the Diors and Rabanes - and "Vesevo" as the strongest representative of the few testable fragrances from the brand there on my skin.

"Vesevo" is perhaps the darkest cotton candy scent I have ever smelled. As if a huge bonfire with bacon and smoked salmon were blazing in a brightly colored circus. And this circus is (due to the clear oud note) located somewhere in the Orient. "Encre Noir" sometimes echoes in the background as well. Very earthy, very brown, very hearty. This is heavy wood, not a Billy shelf. But everything has this fluffy cotton candy texture, yet surprisingly not sweet, so one can definitely celebrate this play of contrasts. At least it gives an already quite decent oud perfume a tricky boost and much more character, DNA, and interest - which, however, can undoubtedly also be a bit annoying.

Longevity: 9 hours, even then it is still not overcome

Conclusion: cotton candy doesn't get darker than this - "Vesevo" rides between the darkest wood and the sweetest cloud on a migraine wave of happiness!
