Feverish Tango, Rose and Leather. Oh yes.
I like leather in all its forms. My relationship with rose is far less clear-cut, and usually it's more of a no than a yes. (That's why I always get even more excited when I come across a rose perfume that can truly captivate me)..
The duo of rose and leather, which is anything but original, has never managed to win me over until now.
It's different here. The leather-rose dance is absolutely perfectly choreographed, down to the millisecond. And there’s nothing else there - just rose and just leather. And I miss nothing.
And: the rose comes across so relaxed and rounded here that I even enjoy wearing and smelling this scent in the heat - while all my other leather favorites have been put into hibernation.
I find the longevity to be above average, even among the Montales, of which I already own several: I entered my office after 5 days of vacation and immediately smelled the Arabians-Rose-Leather.
Speaking of Arabians. This scent is absolutely not Arabic or oriental to me. Rather, it feels very European. It could be from Armani Privee ;)
P.S. You have to give it a second chance. Upon first sniff, I only had the impulse to sell it quickly, and I listed the sample at the souk. Luckily, no one bought it so quickly, otherwise I would have missed out on this love. Thanks for that! :))
P.P.S. A few days later, I want to add to my review: The longevity of this perfume is simply amazing. Even though I wear something different every day (and usually not in small amounts), this scent lingers in every room where I spend time for days, definitely surpassing everything in terms of longevity.
