Be my Plum (be my daily) by Montale
First of all, I have to say that I don't think this scent is bad at all.
I definitely don't get much of the plum, or almost none at all.
The name is misleading to me!
I received my sample and sprayed the fragrance without letting myself be influenced too much beforehand. I originally thought I smelled WHITE leather with bright flowers and a minimal fruitiness in the background. However, it is Oud that I perceive! It is not a barnyard Oud! This is a rather very subtle, extremely delicate, LIGHT OUD, if one can say that about Oud. For me, the scent is mystical and at the same time (almost) suitable for everyday wear, but also in a way feminine, EVEN THOUGH it is truly UNISEX! It does not shout, it does not annoy, but it is also not 0815 or ordinary. For me, it is extravagant, magical but as mentioned above (almost) suitable for everyday wear. I like the scent and will definitely buy it.
The longevity for me is about 8 hours, the sillage may not be excellent, but still worth smelling, although after a certain time, it is very close to the skin. The sillage is not intrusive from the first spray, rather pleasantly noticeable. For me, it is a very light Oud scent, with floral and fruity nuances, that can definitely be worn in everyday life! For me, it's TOP, for others (for whatever reason) a FLOP!

Ich mag den Duft auch - aber warum er Plum heißt, das weiß ich auch nicht. Er riecht gut, aber nicht nach Pflaume 😆
