Very helpful Review
Review without a catchy title
I was definitely there to try it out 5 times before I bought it. For me, the Signature Original was nothing, as that Solero ice cream note, which is initially so beautiful, also left a sticky sweetness that I didn't like.
Signature Absolue has a non-listed - but detected by many - melon-cucumber note. And that was the argument FOR this fragrance for me. After extensive testing, as I said, I bought it. But now I can also understand the reservations of many Original fans.
A sprayer of Absolue on the arm was fine, however when you apply it seriously - and I am truly not Team-Overspray - my goodness, it is then exhausting.. It indeed has something 90s about it.. Between one spray and 4, there are worlds with this scent. It becomes too much for me and I would feel uncomfortable going to the office with this fragrance - out of concern for disturbing my colleagues.
And at the same time, it is also somehow beautiful... So for those who, like me, hesitated - I would actually advise against it.. If you are into 90s florals, please go for it. There probably won't be many who wear this fragrance...
As for the description: it is indeed fresh, in a melon-floral way. Very dominant florals are present - the flowers are very homogeneously blended. The drydown remains floral. I perceive the sillage as strong. The price-performance ratio is definitely given here. And if you are into this kind of thing, it's a bullseye. I like it too much to sell it - but somehow I also don't like to spray it on.. Therefore, I couldn't think of a good title for this review....
