Sometimes you only realize it when it's missing..

I was as excited as a bowstring about Primitivo. I love Morph - for years now, I love Italian wines, and I love any alcoholic notes in fragrances; moreover, the perfume sounded very appealing. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed after the first test. Not because I didn't like it as a scent - on the contrary: I found it wonderful and strong. I was disappointed solely in the expectation of discovering something entirely new in Primitivo, and that was not the case. I immediately felt that Primitivo was very similar to two other (also relatively new) fragrances that I had been wearing intensively at that time. Namely: "Finale" by Schwarzlose and "Arabians Rose Leather" by Montale.

Well, time passed, and I occasionally applied my Primitivo until the sample was empty... Then it became clear to me that I could no longer be without it. I initially ordered another sample. And with each further testing and wearing, I became more aware and clearer that Primitivo does have something of its own, and that it (for me) cannot be replaced by the aforementioned favorites. I couldn't help but order a large bottle.

Wonderfully composed, very balanced, it has that typical sweet-leather or sweet-oud connection (in this case, it's rose-oud to be precise). But the rose is not so clearly perceivable as rose for me personally. More like a sour-sweet wine.

The longevity and intensity are very strong. Unfortunately, I can't say much about the sillage yet.
