I've gotten out of the habit of making hasty comments about things that come to my first subjective attention, and the same applies here.
When I first encountered MU, a distinct sweet, fleshy orange note, Italian soap and something tart and watery hit my nose.
These 3 notes soon intertwined in such a way that I later only perceived a veil of them.
After some time and 2nd-5th use, a light, tart aftershave note (the cedar and minimal labdanum) joined it for me, with very shallow hints of Italian cuisine and the fresh fruity smell of watermelon.
Later, something organically skin-animal-like or talcum germinates, but as subtly as if it were the carrier itself and sometimes nothing more of it.
And this is how the entire fragrance progresses, sometimes some of the nuances shown are perceptible, then another of them flashes up again
The orange comes to the nose sharp, sweet and to bite into, then again tinted by the aftershave touch.
It is not completely free of synthetics, but a fragrance of this type cannot be.
MU is light but present, long-lasting, tends to peak rather than spread and works better with every degree that the temperature column rises. This fragrance practically needs warmth, almost sultriness.
It is so summery and uplifting, without being anything like an aqua/fresh scent, that it often makes me revel in high temperatures and take me to Italy's coasts and its evening piazzas.
For me, this is distilled dolce far niente and definitely not for work.
I don't know whether I would want to wear this fragrance in fall or winter, but it doesn't matter because it is perfect for me like no other for just this 1/4 of the year.
