golden times
In the late eighties, I loved to empty the Naf Naf stores.
Jackets, pants, sweaters - everything was clever and original.
Of course, in my mini size, it looked charming too.
My French friend explained to me that Naf Naf means "little pig."
I like pigs and felt even more connected to the label.
Today, I unpacked a little box from the moving crate that contained a beautiful golden bottle. Naf Naf. The enchanting scent also put a smile on my face.
Just like the wardrobe of this brand, it is something very special - tres francais!
Tres chique!
The bergamot invigorates the nose and the candied apple is irresistible!
Iris and rose add a touch of elegance - the woods and vanilla skillfully round off this beautiful composition.
Mr. Ellena has done a great job again.
The bottle delivers what it promises - golden times.
I don't know if the label still exists - I've certainly outgrown my mini size.
Still, the scent evokes pleasant memories.

I only remember this scent because of its catchy name. But Bernard Ellena? That's someone different from the current perfume guru Jean-Claude Elléna. Oh well, you find all sorts of things after moving!

So far, I only know one fragrance from Naf Naf: Une Touche de Naf Naf, and this scent also brings back pleasant memories for me!

I use the scent way too rarely; after your comment, I’ll definitely pull it out! :-)
