Not for today's teenagers....

This fragrance was a gift from my godmother. I must have been around eleven years old. The joy was immense back then.
In my nostalgic memory, Naf Naf was very sweet, perhaps a hint of vanilla, fruity, floral.
Today, the postman arrived with my Naf Naf, and I impatiently unwrapped it to finally sniff this scent again and indulge in memories of carefree childhood days.
The first spray was rather sobering. I hope it’s not due to the age of the fragrance. In my estimation, it hasn’t gone bad.
Une touche de Naf Naf is, in my opinion, quite musky. It is by no means as sweet and lovely as I had hoped.
My female acquaintances smelled mainly of aldehyde, musk, or chypre about 30 years ago.
I still remember when I received a bottle of My Melody as a gift. The packaging that could be unfolded fascinated me a lot, but the scent less so.
Compared to those fragrances, Naf Naf must have seemed quite sweet to me.
Today, I perceive it as rather oriental. It’s questionable whether 11-year-olds today would still describe it as so great.
In my opinion, it is also very wearable for older generations.

Addendum: after about 2 hours, it becomes quite pleasantly warm, floral, and slightly fruity.

Waterbubbles: no, it definitely doesn't come off as cheap... it has a recognizable quality.

A lovely scent. It's not sweet; for today's standards, it's actually quite "mature."

I thought it was great back then as a kid (I wasn't the one wearing it). It seemed sweet to me, but not as cheap as many fragrances today.

Oh, I would love to smell that again! It was my first real perfume back when I was a teenager.
