I once stood next to neroli blossoms and initially stepped back because a somewhat too harsh and musty smell came my way. Sniffed again, a subtly green, fresh, citrus note emerged. Still, yes, one must like neroli. Neroli and orange blossoms make up the fragrance. They give it that southern, subtly harsh, deep character. Frangipani makes it a bit lighter. Musk and amber make it for me so incomparably powdery/creamy. Cedar wood adds a bit of harshness again.
For me, it is also a summer scent, but not for over 30 degrees. A floral/harsher caress on the skin.
However, I would wish for more sillage. So I only get to enjoy it myself.
