Black Afgano Nasomatto 2009 Extrait de Parfum

I love this Nasomatto, just as great as the Pardon and yet fundamentally different - they only have their father Alessandro in common. I enjoy going out into the woods for long walks/hikes. On such days, I am ready for the Black Afgano, when it wafts into my nose outdoors in nature, yes it makes its presence known from time to time, then it blends so seamlessly into the natural experience that it delights me and makes me feel good. I find it doesn't smell like someone is indulging in a wick, I smell the pleasantly warm earthy notes coming through… strolling in the woods, into the sunrise, accompanied by this warm, earthy yet simultaneously dark green scent - simply wonderful. For visiting a nice restaurant, for business meetings, or gathering with family, it doesn't appeal to me - it is for me the scent for special experiences in and with nature. No blind-buy recommendation for this fine brew, but I tip my hat to Alessandro for this masterpiece. How great that I will be outdoors again the day after tomorrow with my Black Afgano.
