Voyage Nautica 2006 Eau de Toilette

It has been a few years since I embarked on a long journey to the end of the world.

Just before it began, I started to delve more into fragrances. At that time, Nautica Voyage was featured in almost all the top lists by YouTubers in the top spots. Due to its low price and my upcoming trip to a tropical country, it was quickly clear: I absolutely need this scent.

Now, there were probably different productions; back then, I wasn't very knowledgeable about the subject and didn't look into it further (my bottle has a plastic cap, while the best batches apparently had a metal one or similar). So my fragrance had a weaker performance.

Let's talk about the scent:
One word would actually suffice, and that would be "Fresh." It simply smells fresh, let's say aquatic with very slight "green" accents, which are probably due to the apple in the top note. But actually, it is thoroughly just fresh. When it's so warm that you start to sweat without even moving, this scent is just right.
You smell fresh and feel fresh, like after a cold shower.
That's why this fragrance has accompanied me almost every day and always ensured my well-being.

Performance:
Unfortunately, the scent falters a bit here. Over the years, I've learned that fresh fragrances often have weaker performance than spicy-sweet ones. Additionally, the climate in which you wear Voyage plays a role. I always wore it on super hot days, so the performance suffers, of course. I could overlook that since the price is simply unbeatable. Reapplying after a few hours is therefore no problem and gives that "fresh kick" again, which I have always found to be a positive aspect.

Conclusion:
By now, I have explored further in the world of perfumes and hardly wear this one anymore, but when I do spray it, it sends me right back around the world to the beaches of Oceania :)
