Today I tested Marron Chic for the fourth time. Not because I find it difficult to describe the scent, but because each test is even more enjoyable than the last.
Marron Chic is for me the most beautiful gourmand-woody fragrance I have encountered so far.
I cannot perceive any of the listed flowers or citrus notes. From the moment of spraying, the scent is very gourmand, as if - very well dosed - Ylang-Ylang is included or perhaps Tuberose, both of which are not listed. Marron Chic is also slightly sweet - without being truly sweet, and beautifully soft woody with a very light smokiness. This is likely caused by the Iris, which gives it a certain powderiness, without stealing my breath away, as it often does.
The creaminess of Marron Chic is simply irresistible! I can't stop sniffing my left arm. Even now, after many hours, the scent is so beautiful, so enticing, so soft, so gourmand. It feels exceptionally calming to me.
The fairly good sillage ensures a good scent distribution, and it lasts and lasts and lasts.
In the base, a little green comes in, the sweetness completely disappears, but not the softness and creaminess.
Marron Chic is a cuddle fragrance par Excellence and is already on my wish list. Many thanks to the dear donor of this sample, which I will savor until the last drop.
