Coral Cocktail for Summer
I'm glad I didn't look at the fragrance notes or the pyramid before testing, because otherwise I would have never dared to try this due to my fear of sugar from the fruit: This wonderful composition actually opens fruity, but the sweetness is pleasantly balanced by the citrus fruits and never comes off as cheap-synthetic-pink-candy-like. The jasmine and woods also contribute to this balance, harmoniously tying everything together.
A hint of summery exoticism floats over this coral water, but without coconut, gardenia, and tiaré/monoi. For those who urgently need a summer fragrance (like many poor perfumistas here...) but fear lemon-cloying, overly floral scents, and also Pina Colada, L'Eau Corail is definitely worth a try.
I find it rather feminine. For the gentlemen, there is from the same house a slightly woodier yet fruity Vie de Château Intense. Thus, intense castle life in summer. For the lady of the castle, however, this coral cocktail served chilled on the terrace. Heart, what more could you want?
