Not between the scent and me and not for the voyeur.
First of all, this comment will be a critique because I have reached my limits with this fragrance. I am too weak for it. However, I do find it intriguing, just like all the other scents from this brand. There are true works of art among them.
The voyeur lurks by the window,
camera set up,
so he doesn't miss a single detail....
The couple across the way is already at the beginning of what he has been so eagerly waiting for.
But he sees less and less,
smells the acrid smoke.
Quickly, everything is dark,
darker than the night is dark.
Damn, who the hell.....
is burning their junk in the yard again?
Completely frustrated, he decapitates an old whiskey barrel.
Eternally aged, only a brown sludge remains inside.
Another damn it...
But, whatever,
it will serve its purpose.
He scrapes the dregs with a spoon into a glass,
not even half full,
fills it with Maggi,
Whatever, brown sludge....
and drinks.
Completely drunk from such a brew,
he collapses and dreams of what he actually wanted to observe.
The next morning, he looks down into the yard
to see what has been burned,
finds a charred ham
and takes a bite....
This scent should perhaps be reserved for people who really enjoy such fragrances.
I prefer to turn to the somewhat subtler ones from the brand.
Well, dear Gandix, I can totally understand that. To be honest, I had a feeling he wouldn't work for you either when I sent it to you.
Nonetheless, Nimère has absolutely fascinating things in their lineup. However, this "Peeper" is definitely one of the challenging, unbearable scents for me too.
It's nice to reach your personal limits; that's the only way to recognize them and, if you want, push them further. This scent would probably be a bit much for me too, but at least it inspired you to a great (albeit family-friendly) story ;-)
It's interesting to see where we reach our personal limits. I really liked this one, but the Sea Censored was a no-go. It's amazing what scents can trigger in us...
The voyeur, or rather you, really went through a lot to test this perfume. But negative experiences are part of it too, and that bite in the ham could maybe be marketed as a gourmet experience. However, I would have my doubts about the scent, just like you do!
The dried plum is to blame for the Maggi aroma combined with the alcohol. It smells like it's soaked in alcohol, which I didn't find very pleasant either.
I've known the scent for a while, but I didn't pick up on the Maggi back then!? But that was a long time ago. Maybe Nikolay has changed the scent a bit for public sale. Who knows?
Spanner-Pokal.. ;)
I always find your critiques very funny! Just like this one. I had a great time reading it! And the scent? Definitely interesting, but with ham and Maggi, it's unnecessary.
Oh my... I can imagine it *creepy*....... I'll join SchatzSucher and spray a lovely floral scent instead.... just a little precaution, so to speak :-D....
I already know your take on the scent. As soon as I read "leathery-animalic," I'm quickly disappearing into a dust cloud on the horizon :-D *sprays floral scent*

Definitely a good fit for me.
