Fougere?!! And even though only bergamot is listed, this is the first impression... But only for the one millisecond, that one second that makes it a top or flop encounter.

Hooked, having long been tempted, and thanks to a nice perfumer here, I sought it out. Great expectations have settled within me. It was said to be no blind buy candidate. So, boom - blind purchase made.
Meeting high expectations is almost impossible, as we all know.
After such different descriptions, I only knew half of what awaited me in the beautiful packaging.
Lemon cake - no lemon cake... I associate vanilla more with a wrinkled nose... Cool, warm... I’ll test it out and am curious.
Yes, my first impression as already written above - fougere. But only for a brief moment. Cool... Dry... Vanilla, but what a vanilla! Quite wonderful, not overly prominent but always present. Not a cloyingly sweet vanilla, dry and green in one moment. Just to become beautifully warm shortly after. Smoothly underlined by amber and sandalwood.
Very well intertwined components of the female & male kind. Definitely unisex, but it doesn’t fully describe it.
This scent is the one that stands on its own. It doesn’t want to please at all costs; it seems to know itself well enough to be at peace within. It needs no admiration. It loves itself. And it fits me like (almost) no other.
The relationship between us will last, even without lemon cake.
