Sweet & Spicy Yin-Yang
This is one of my favorite perfumes of all time. It’s my go-to sweet & spicy cold weather vanilla. It’s perfectly balanced across all its facets, and it’s a scent that anyone could enjoy.
Ani starts off with a blast of oriental spiciness, with that cardamom front and center + an extra kick from the pink pepper. You’re also hit with lots of woodiness, earthiness, and a sweetness that you can’t quite place until the spices give way for a yummy vanilla and syrupy black currant to poke through. The complexity on this one is well experienced during its wear, staying perfectly balanced and blended all throughout. It’s got excellent performance as well, so it doesn’t need touching up from wearing it during the daytime into the nighttime. I just love it so much, especially when it’s cold and crispy out.
While I can see how this wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea, I think everyone that calls themselves fraghead should experience this one at least once in their life. Will always be in my top 5 fragrances and worth every penny it costs.
