Aromatic tea

This is a great extrait but not exactly what I was hoping for.

At first spray, it's bright, orange citrus and slightly floral. The orange notes paired with the bergamot and litsea cubeba really just make the opening a citrus powerhouse with a vague, yellow floral undertone. It remains this way for the first few hours of the wear for me, with the citrus aspect slowly fading.

It begins to further develop around hour three or four when the oolong starts to emerge and the scent becomes incredibly aromatic. It smells very green, quite sharp and it bolsters the floral quality that was present in the open.

Around this time, I notice the musk starting to come out, adding a bit of warmth and depth to the intense green freshness. It stays with this scent profile for the rest of the wear. Because it was so green, leafy and aromatic throughout, I'm not sure if or when the fig note came out at all. This lasted for well over ten hours on my skin and the sillage remained relatively strong the entire time.

Overall, this is an interesting tea fragrance. I was hoping for something more explicitly "tea" but I can enjoy this. It would obviously do well in the spring and summer months due to its citrus, green and fresh qualities, but I also think it would be a suitable winter scent as a way to brighten things up.
