One of the most slept on fragrances on the market
Sutton Place is one of those perfumes i didn't think i'd like because of the leather note (i'm not a fan), but unexpectedly... we clicked. Today is the fist time i'm wearing it, and after 5 hours, I think i can give a relatively accurate opinion, as it's a bit more subdued in character.
It opens with a citrusy burst of bergamot. The pineapple is also noticeable, and the pink pepper adds a slightly spicy, sharp edge - but not overwhelmingly so. There's also a hint of blackcurrant.
As the scent develops, it begins to resemble Creed Aventus or Absolute, but on steroids. In my opinion Sutton Place has a slightly sweeter, muskier dry-down. The leather is present but barely noticeable - it's there, yes almost feels absent.... I can't quite explain it.
I find it suitable for all seasons, daily wear, and any kind of occasion - overall, a great option for a signature scent.
It's been 8 hours on my skin now and still going strong and full-bodied, so I think it will last at least 12 hours. It's definitely not one of those fragrances that will just sit collecting dust in my collection.
