Marine amber? Sure
So I bought this principally for souvenir purposes - salty/marine/aquatic notes worry me - but this is quite nicely balanced. The initial spray goes on a bit breathtakingly aquatic for my tastes, but it quickly melts into a semi-sweet almondy heliotrope and amber base. What lasts of the aquatic-ness lends a bit of a rough edge that keeps it from going too sweet. It's quite a good olfactory impression of sun-baked dunes filled with sea buckthorn bushes coated in sea spray. Thumbs up for an impulse buy
