The One That Awakens Your Desire

Caldo Gourmand - the hot gourmand. What are they thinking at Officina delle Essenze when they give their perfume such a name? Exactly. They probably know enough people like me who go wild when they smell such a blend. You want to slather it all over your body or better yet, pour the whole bottle down your throat, it smells so delicious what is offered here. When the pyramid lists: vanilla and caramel, then that is precisely what is detected here, and anyone who can even remotely call themselves a sweet tooth will go crazy for this scent: sweet, soft, gentle, caramel-like... In seconds, Caldo Gourmand awakens your desire, stirs the sweet-hungry beast within you, and makes you want to climb the walls if a load of the most delicious caramel chocolates doesn’t appear in front of you immediately. But what is even more wonderful: After a while, your sweet cravings are somewhat controllable, you are satisfied with the scent, and even much later, the fragrance comes to terms with the fact that you have accepted it, becoming softer and slightly more bitter, with musk and wood gently knocking at the door. This scent is truly beautiful, really well done, a great gourmand that perhaps suits autumn even better than winter. It is wonderfully balanced, does not get lost in sweet dreams, but is tamed by the base notes. However, I do not smell coconut, nor apple. In the sweet realm, I only perceive vanilla and caramel. Furthermore, the bottle is very beautifully simple, very elegant, the cube feels heavy in the hand, and the brass plaque gives it - like the heavy, golden packaging - a noble appearance. What a wonderful gourmand pleasure!

I really like it in the office too; the scent gently caresses me. I don't smell apple and coconut either, and I don't need to.
The fragrance is brightening my day right now.

Oh my God, I totally agree with you! Just sprayed it once, and bam... I'm in love! Such a beautiful and almost tender scent! I can smell vanilla, caramel, a bit of creaminess, and a hint of apple! So delicious it’s almost bite-worthy! :-D

Whatever it says up there, I think this smells quite similar to Aqua di Parma, Mandorlo di Sicilia. There's a lot mentioned about it that I can't really pick up. However, I do think that Mandorlo used to smell more like star anise and overall... oh, never mind. Trophy+

Yes, it's mild and, in my opinion, even suitable for business and tested for it. I find it very similar to Eau de Missions, just more long-lasting.
