For Little and Big Girls

Lucky Girl is a light, cheerful summer fragrance with a fresh fruity-floral note. While it doesn't project particularly far or last very long, the fruits develop nicely and remain present for quite a while. It's certainly not a complex olfactory masterpiece with great evolution, but it is a truly pleasant scent (especially on warm summer days). The bottle looks quite nice, though the plastic cap can be a bit difficult to open and close at times. The price is also reasonable.

Oh, what's wafting in here?

Upon the first spray, a fruity-floral, cheerfully buoyant wave greets me. It reminds me of my teenage years with the various summer scents from Escada. A bit less sweet, certainly, but more floral, yet just as carefree and girlish. Almost a little naively, "Lucky Girl" tries to convince me of its qualities as a daydreamy fragrance full of life. I imagine a 13-year-old with whimsical thoughts and a desire to explore the world, bursting into the kitchen with a basket full of sweet, fruity delights to recount an adventure-filled day. I am the smiling mom sitting in the corner, preparing dinner. Nodding. Waiting.
And the happy girl becomes quieter, a bit gentler, having tucked her fruit basket away in a corner, twirling roses and lilacs into harmonious little bouquets with her slender fingers. There may be a bouquet of lilies somewhere, but I don't perceive it.

Amber and musk will never truly be noticeable in the late hours. They form nothing more than a thin linen bed for the fruits and flowers. Especially the melon lingers on my skin many hours later, after the girl has long gone to bed.

Sillage and longevity are exceptionally good on my skin. Although I must say that after a short while, only lilac and melon are perceptible to me. However, these accompany me for many hours.

For those who enjoy carefree, fruity, and indeed a bit sweet fragrances, one could certainly recommend an "adoption" :-)
